Joyce June Smith

Joyce J. Smith, 87, Denmark, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at home. Born in Stiles, June 23, 1927 she is the daughter of the late Mike and Mildred (Lucas) Renier. Joyce married Edsel “Smitty” Smith on June 26, 1948 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2014. She was a great homemaker who cherished times caring for her family. She loved her many pets.

Joyce is survived by three daughters, Kathy Cenefelt, Christy (Dwight) Kraszewski, and Linda (Perry) Bosetski; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Bevard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, Michael (Helen) Renier; sisters, Sylvia Bevard and Claudine Renier.

Private family services were held at Malcore (West) Funeral Home and her body was laid to rest in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum
