Joyce A. Goetsch, 80, Plant City, Florida, and Howard, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at a Plant City Hospital with her husband at her side. Born in Sheboygan on May 8, 1933, she is the daughter of the late John and Edna (Scheffler) Wilke. Joyce graduated from Sheboygan North High School the Class of 1951. She went on to Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, Milwaukee graduating in 1954. Joyce married John “Jack” Goetsch on June 16, 1956, in Sheboygan. After the couple’s marriage they went on to living in London, England, Whitefish Bay, WI, Glendale, WI and splitting time between Plant City, Florida and presently, Howard, WI. Joyce enjoyed reading best sellers, growing flowers indoors and making every holiday special for her family. Over the years the couple has been members at Lutheran Churches wherever they lived.
She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Goetsch of Howard; children, Jody A. Beauvais, Green Bay; Jacklyn L. Goetsch and fiancé, Ernest Harter, LaCrosse, WI, and James W. (Lynn) Goetsch, Dayton, OH. grandchildren, Abbie Goetsch, Milwaukee, John Austin Goetsch, Grayslake, IL, Melanie Beauvais, and Matthew Beauvais both of Green Bay, and Ariel Goetsch, Dayton OH; brother, John (Janice) Wilke, South St. Paul, MN; further survived by other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and son, John C. Goetsch.
Visitation at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St. Agnes Drive, Green Bay, Saturday, March 29th, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. Scott Malme officiaiting. Entombment at Ft. Howard Memorial Park. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is caring for the family.
