John Winn

John R. Winn, 90, Green Bay, died peacefully, May 11, 2013, at a local hospital. Born in Fond du Lac, June 8, 1922, he is the son of the late Joe and Ella (Pratt) Winn. John served in the United States Army during World War II. He married the former Margaret Maccaux on June 3, 1946, at St. Philip the Apostle Church. John and Marge owned and operated Winn Sewing Center for many years. He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; sister-in-law, Mildred Kraft all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his son, John Michael Winn; brother, Gene Winn; as well as many other relatives.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
