John R. Beardsley, 66, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local nursing home on Friday, May 2, 2014. Born on November 4, 1947, in New Jersey, he is the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Fowser) Beardsley. John enjoyed nature, especially times spent at his favorite place, the Wildlife Sanctuary. He also cherished fishing on the Fox River and in Lake Michigan.
John is survived by one brother, Jeff (Roberta) Beardsley, Pennsville, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jill Davis.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 N. Baird St., Monday from 2 – 3 p.m. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Fewell officiating.
