Jim (William James) Bienash, 64, Ashwaubenon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Born January 18, 1950, in Monroe, WI, he is the son of the late William J. and Maxine (Greatsinger) Bienash. Jim grew up in Footville, a small village in Southern Wisconsin. After attending Orfordville High School, Jim graduated from Milton College and later earned his Master’s Degree in Reading from UW-Oshkosh. He worked as a special education teacher in the West De Pere School District until his retirement. Jim married Betty (Page) Bienash on July 1, 1978. Family and friends remained the most important aspect of his life until his passing. Jim was also an active member of Union Congregational Church and an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bienash, Green Bay; daughter and son-in-law, Laura (Bienash) and Rocky Gupta, and two beloved grandchildren, Clayton and Adelaide, all of Chicago, IL.
William was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jane Bienash.
Visitation at Union Congregational Church, 716 S. Madison Street, Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 12 (Noon) with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is caring for the family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
