Jean F. (Gonion) Bach, 61, New Franken, passed away at home Tuesday, July 8, 2014 with her family at her side. Born on August 3, 1952 she is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Phillips) Thyes. Jean enjoyed cooking, reading, and shopping. Her house was decorated so beautiful especially during Christmas displaying her Christmas Villages. Recently Jean and Paul shared 24 years of marriage. Their special vacation trips covered much of our country. Jean loved her family so very much and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the lights of her life.
Survived by: her husband Paul; daughters: Tracy (James) Frump and Michelle (Dustin) Ducat; grandchildren: Ashley Novitski and special friend Demone; Jacob LaFave, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Austin Frump, Aiden and Aubrey Ducat; step grandson: Ezra Ducat; great grandchildren Dezmun and Ava Gant; sisters: Janice Nockerts and Judi (Bob) Hyska; sister-in-laws: Barb (Bill) Bradshaw and Carol (Gary) Cormier; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Gladys Thyes, mother and father-in-law: Harold and Charlotte Bach, brothers-in-law: Bob Nockerts and Joe Bach; many aunts and uncles.
Private funeral services will take place at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, 701 North Baird Street, Green Bay at 3 P.M. Friday, July 11 with Pastor David Hatch officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
Special thanks to Dr. Peter Johnson, Dr. Umang Gautum, Dr. Ubaid Nawaz and the staff and nurses at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. Also special thanks to the staff and nurses at the hospital for their compassionate care.
