Janice M. Collier, 77, Green Bay, died at a local hospital on May 1, 2014. Born on May 19, 1936, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Gordon and Lorraine (Detrie) Pierquet. On December 29, 1956, she married Donald J. Collier, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 1989. Janice was a loving and caring mother with a good heart, who enjoyed collecting antiques.
She is survived by three children, Donn Collier, and his companion Polly Roseberry, Penny Collier, and Mark (Heather) Collier, all of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Kyra (Randy) Renard, Jeremy Collier, Nicholas (Danielle) Collier, and Christopher, Emily, Matthew, Hannah, and Libby Collier; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel (Debby) Pierquet, Steve (Kathy) Pierquet, and Rick (Melody) Pierquet; and her “special” daughters-in-law, Rayleen and Sue.
Preceded in death by her husband; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene (Gregory) Van Ark, and Linda (Doug) Benz.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Burial at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
