Helen L. Skrivanie

October 17, 1926 — January 3, 2017

Helen L. Skrivanie, 90, passed away with her family at her side, Tuesday morning, Jan. 3rd, 2017, at a local hospital. Born Oct. 17th, 1926, in Two Rivers, she is the daughter of the late Lester and Irene (Jacques) Boutin. Helen married Claude Skrivanie and he preceded her in death in January of 2008 after 60 plus years of marriage. Together, the couple enjoyed working side by side for over 25 years creating memories for carnival goers through the sale and engraving of jewelry. Helen took great pride in crocheting beautiful baby blankets and hats. She appreciated the times she could listen to the choir at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Helen will be sadly missed by her regular Friday dinner friends and Saturday lunch buddies of which she was an integral part for the last eight years. She will also be missed by her furry four-legged couch buddy, Greta.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Claudia Nys; three grandchildren, Steven Havlichek, Green Bay, Christopher Havlichek, San Francisco and Jason Skrivanie, Ruskin, FL; a great-grandchild, Samantha Skrivanie; brother, James (Dorothy) Boutin, Manitowoc; daughter-in-law, Veronica Skrivanie, Ruskin, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude; son, Michael Skrivanie; a grandson, Brian Havlichek; a son-in-law, Michael Nys; four brothers and sisters; and her first furry four-legged couch buddy, Quincy.
