Eugene N. Phillips, Sr.

Eugene N. Phillips, Sr., 60, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 5, 2014, at home. Born August 10, 1954, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Shirley (Benoit) Phillips. Eugene faithfully served in the Marine Corp and later in the Naval Reserve. He married Patricia Pribyl on February 4, 1978 at Saints Peter and Paul Parish. Eugene was employed for many years driving truck. Eugene enjoyed stock car racing.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia; five children, Renae, Eugene Jr., Jacob, Rena, and Sarah; five granddaughters and three grandsons; three sisters and five brothers; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Tony Seidl.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 4pm until the time of the funeral at 7pm with Pastor Becky Deuel officiating with military honors to follow.

A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Eugene’s memory.
