Elizabeth Claire Ann Herlache, 51, Abrams, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at home. Born in Green Bay, September 22, 1961, she is the daughter of the late William and Arlene (Bilquist) Herlache. Elizabeth graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1979 and later went to Silver Lake College and NWTC. She worked as a Medical Assistant at Oneida Health Center. Elizabeth was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Sobieski, served as President of the Immaculate Mary Society, was a choir member, Eucharistic Minister, and First Grade Catechist for CCD. Elizabeth loved helping people, camping, swimming and Red Lobster.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Peter (LouAnn) Herlache of Lena, Gary (Patti) Herlache of Winneconne, and Larry Herlache of Minnesota; 3 sisters, Mary (Jim) Beschta of Oconto Falls, Julie Herlache of Abrams, and Chris Detaege of Wausau; and many other relatives and friends.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Paul and Joseph Herlache.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason Street, Thursday (8/29) from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Parish wake service 7:30 P.M. Fridays visitation will continue at St. Maximilian Kolbe, Sobieski from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Gerald Prusakowski, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stiles.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Parish Nurse, Mar and the staff of Heartland Hospice in particular Eric and Jenna, for all of their special care. Julie you cared for all of Beth’s needs, you were her little angel.
