Edward Jacob Trautner

February 10, 1919 — August 4, 2014

Edward “Ed” Trautner, 95, Green Bay, died peacefully, Monday, August 4, 2014, at Care for All Ages in Green Bay. Born in Milwaukee, February 10, 1919, he was raised in the Menominee area by his grandmother. Ed proudly served in the United States Army during World War II for four years. He worked at Lloyd Flanders in Menominee for several years and served in the Parent Organization of the Northernaires Drum and Bugle Corps. Ed married June Brazier from Marinette and they had three children, Ed, David, and Sally. Ed and his wife moved to Green Bay in 1968 where he worked at Paper Converting until his retirement. He was on the Golf League for Paper Converting and loved their Retirement Christmas Parties. Ed enjoyed his road trips to Vegas, was a Packer Season Ticket Holder, played cards with friends in the “Chicken Coop”, loved his canine companion, Rupert John, and watching the show, “Everyone Loves Raymond.”

The family will conduct a Celebration of Ed’s Life at a later date. Malcore (West) Funeral Home, Green Bay cared for the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Care for All Ages, Unity Hospice, especially, Fr. Larry, and nurse, Kathy.
