Edna Devroy, 90, Green Bay passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born September 19, 1922, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Ben and Josephine Alberts. She married Milton Devroy on June 7, 1941, on her farmhouse in Green Bay and he preceded her in death on August 21, 1993. Edna was a baker at Preble High School for 20 years and was proud of the wedding cakes she made for her family. She enjoyed gardening, her dog Angel, and times spent with her family and friends.
Edna is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue (Larry) Burbey of Green Bay, Sandy (Ron) Markell of Ashwaubenon, Diane Millar of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Nehs of Oconomowoc, Tricia Millar of Green Bay, Chad (Kelly) Burbey of Beaverton, OR, Brian (Kelly) Millar of Merrimac, WI, and Lori (Jimmy) Denis of Green Bay; fifteen great grandchildren, Taylor, Michael, Caitlyn, Devin, Josh, Peyton, David, Nathan, Alex, Mason, Lilli, Kyle, Max, Madden, and Nolan; one great great granddaughter, Bella Rose; favorite Goddaughter, Jeannie; four brothers and two sisters, Walter, Reggie, Jude, Virgil, Joanne, and Regina; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Denny; one grandson, David; one brother and one infant brother, Cletus and David; one sister, Joan “Chick” and one sister-in-law, Dorothy.
Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home University Ave. at Baird St., Thursday from 4 PM until 8 PM. Parish wake service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday morning at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the funeral Mass at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Cirignani OFM officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
