Eddie Felton, 71, Green Bay, died early Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013, at a local nursing home. Born May 12, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he is the son of the late Alonzo and Willie Felton. He moved to Chicago in 1962 and worked on an assembly line for a number of years. Eddie settled in Green Bay in 2002.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Patricia McGee; one daughter, Franshaw Newsome; three brothers, Roy Lee Wright, David Lee Felton and Robert Parnell Felton; eight sisters, Mae Francis (Leroy Quinn) Landon, Brenda (Bill) Joyce Richmond, Etoy (Brian) Presley, Bernice (Jerod Rhone) Felton, Alice (Reginald Rudd) Felton, Cynthia Felton, Jennifer (Jerome) Simon and Andromeda Felton; a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pinkie; two sons, Aaron and Alonzo; and seven brothers.
Visitation a MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Monday, May 20, 2013, from 2pm until the time of the memorial serve. Memorial service 3pm Monday, May 20, 2013, with Chaplain Jonathan Elmer of Heartland Hospice officiating.
Eddie was a ray of sunshine to all! He was a very devoted, loving person that enjoyed his family and friends.
