Donald “Don” Picard, 76, Green Bay, passed away June 17, 2014 at local nursing home. Born May 27, 1938, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Louis and Mabel Picard. Don was formerly employed as an electrician with Peterson Builders in Sturgeon Bay. He will be remembered as an avid fan of all football, but especially, a fan of the Packers.
Don is survived by his wife of nearly 22 years, Jeanne; step-daughter, Bonnie (Roy) Leyendecker of Texas; grandson, Luke Brueggeman of Lone Rock, WI; two sisters, Jackie (Al) Meyer, Green Bay and Beverly (Bob) DeGroot of Stoughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and also brothers and sisters.
A private service was held at Parkview Manor. The care staff of Parkview Manor had always treated Don as one of their very own family members.
