Donald P Landwehr

September 14, 1925 — November 18, 2016

Donald P. Landwehr, 91, Green Bay, died peacefully, Friday, November 18, 2016, at a local hospital. Born in Seymour, September 14, 1925, he is the son of the late Paul and Emma (Meyer) Landwehr. Don served in the United States Navy from 1943-1946. He married the former Marion LeMere October 2, 1946, at St. John the Baptist Church and they recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Don proudly worked as an engineer in the Green Bay school district for 40 years. During that time, he also worked for his brother-in-law’s landscaping business. Don cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting his cottage.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Marion; five children, Suzanne (Hub) Hazaert, Don “Buckoo” (Lori) Landwehr, Kathy Vander Linden, Karen (Tom) Rhoades, and Tom (Christine Patton) Landwehr; 10 grandchildren, Tricia (Jeremy) Short, Kory (Jennifer Conley) Hazaert, Daniel (Gina) Landwehr, Sally (Tim) Corrigan, Ann (Brad) Haack, Shelly (Mark LeMense) McCracken, Kyle (Jessica Davis) Rhoades, Karisa (Mark) Shepard, Paul (Samantha) Landwehr, and Brian (Nicole) Landwehr; 14 great grandchildren and soon to be Miss Baby B Shepard; one sister, Rita Haase; four sisters-in-law, Dororthy Ullmer, Helen Exford, Carol Landwehr and Kathleen LeMere.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Wilbert, Aloysius, Leonard, Carlton, Francis, Vernon; three sisters, Mildred, Susie, and Bernice; two daughters-in-law, Laurie and Janet Landwehr.

Visitation will take place on Friday, November 25th from 4 until 7pm at Malcore (West) Funeral Home. Memorial Service at 7pm by his son, Pastor Don Landwehr. Military honors to follow. Interment of his ashes will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Visit www.malcorefuneralhomes.com to offer a condolence to the family.
