Diane M. Goeltz, 60, Green Bay, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Residence, after a courageous battle with ovarian sarcoma. Born in Elkhorn, WI November 9, 1952, she is the daughter of Arnold and the late Beatrice (Grundmann) Dorn. Diane married H. Louis Goeltz in August of 1972 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hartford, WI. She worked at Pomps and then Green Bay Drop Forge. Diane liked exploring estate sales, feeding and watching her birds in the back yard, and trips to Algoma and Door County. She loved her grandchildren immensely and cherished every moment spent with them.
Diane is survived by her children, Cassie (Craig) Pakkala, Tim (Rochelle) Goeltz all of Green Bay, and Tony (Beth) Goeltz of the Twin Cities, MN; granddaughters, Callie and Cami Pakkala, Kara and Hallie Goeltz, and Stella Goeltz; father, Arnold Dorn of Waupun; 5 siblings, Carl (JoAnn) Dorn of Georgia, Edna (Robert) Noldan of Randolph, WI, Fred Dorn of Hartford, WI, Greg (Lori) Dorn of Madison, and Harvey (Kathy) Dorn of Johnson Creek, WI; former husband, H. Louis Goeltz of Green Bay; many other relatives and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral at 12 (Noon) with the Rev. Ethan Cherney officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
