Dennis J. Stoneburner

September 28, 1955 — March 13, 2018

Dennis J. “Grampa Denny” Stoneburner, 62, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2018, at a Green Bay hospital while surrounded by his immediate family. Born Sept. 28, 1955, in Menominee, MI, he is the son of the late James and Carol (Smith) Stoneburner. Dennis had worked as a mechanic his entire life, spending most of his years at Pomp’s Tire, starting in 1986 and retiring in 2016 due to his failing health. His family was the most important part of his life.

Dennis is survived by four children, Janet Lynn, Michael James, Nicole Marie, and Anna-Marie Joy; grandchildren, Jordan, Renee, Austyn, Keinayn, Jazmyn, Don, Matthew, Megan, and Morgan; one sister, Linda (Jim) Yunke; three nieces, Jenn LaBlanc, Angie Menor, and Amber Jo Stoneburner; and other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis James, Jr.; and a brother, Jeffrey.

Visitation will be at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Sat. March 17th, from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 1pm with Sr. Helen Keyzer, ANG officiating with full military honors to follow.

Dennis’ family extends a special thank you to the local hospitals and rescue squad that assisted with his care and also to the caring staff of Bornemann Nursing Home. We are also so very thankful for all the love and care shown to Dennis by his dear friend, Lory “Tailor” Stoneburner.
