Dennis Michael Klaus, 48, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, at a local hospital. Born on October 19, 1966, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Wayne and Evelyn (Bertrand) Klaus. Dennis enjoyed music and listening to the Packers.
Dennis is survived by two brothers, Steve (Vicki) Klaus, Green Bay, and Mike (Wendy) Klaus, Lena; two sisters, Margaret (Craig) Nooyen, and Dorothy (Pat) Westphal, both of Green Bay; uncles, Ray Klaus, Green Bay, Henry Bertrand, Town of Scott, and Joseph Bertrand, Howard; aunts, Adeline DeGrave (special friend, Lloyd Bunker), Isabelle (Wayne) Walker, and Erma Klaus, all of Green Bay; 14 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his one brother, Francis; parents; grandparents, Frank (Georgiana) Klaus, and Frank (Maggie) Bertrand; aunts, Marcella Klaus, and Ester Bertrand; and great nephew, Parker LeTourneau.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Wednesday from 1:00 until the time of the funeral. Funeral 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tom Klaus for being his guardian. They would also like to thank Joanne and Dean DeBaere, who cared for Dennis for many years and treated him like their own son.
