David Michael Gauthier

November 11, 1953 — October 16, 2014

David M. Gauthier, 60, Green Bay, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Thursday, October 16, 2014, following an 8 year battle with cancer. Born in Green Bay, November 11, 1953, he is the son of the late Floyd and Cecelia (Jarmuskiewicz) Gauthier. Dave was a Vietnam Veteran serving proudly in the United State Marine Corps. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 36 years. Dave enjoyed his cabin he and his brother’s built in Florence, musky fishing, his Harley, and helping out at his friend, Todd’s farm.

He is survived by his siblings, Ron (Janet) Gauthier of Krakow, Linda Smaney of Green Bay, Henry (Diane) Gauthier, Gloria (Arlin) Polczinski, Steve (Patsy) Gauthier, and Ann (Mick) Pillsbury all of Pulaski; many relatives and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Norbert Smaney.

Visitation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Friday, October 24, from 12 (Noon) until the time of the Memorial Mass at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Demuth officiating. Full Military Honors to follow. A celebration of Dave’s life will continue at Buster’s Bar and Grill, 2475 W. Mason Street. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is caring for the family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Green Bay Oncology, especially Dr. Ruth Warren and Tara Lien, and the entire staff of Unity Hospice for all of their care and support.
