Connie L. Peserik, 59, Green Bay, went to her heavenly home Tuesday evening, Sept. 27, 2016, while at a local hospital. Born June 21, 1957, in Two Rivers, she is the daughter of the late David and Dorothy (Kalk) Abramovich. Connie attended First German Evangelical Lutheran Grade School, Manitowoc, is a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School, Class of ‘75 and received a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Doctor Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN, in 1980. Connie married David Peserik at First German on Aug. 7, 1981. She was proud to have taught for 5 years in Wisconsin Synod Lutheran Schools and taught mathematics the last 29½ years at Lombardi Middle School, Green Bay. In 1999, while teaching at Lombardi Middle School, Connie earned her Master’s degree in education.
Connie is survived by her husband, Dave; two children, Thomas and Caroline; one sister, Linda (Dennis) Hebert; nephew, Jeffrey Hebert; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church, 3186 Eaton Rd, Green Bay, Friday, Sept. 30th from 6-9pm. Visitation will continue at the church, Saturday, Oct. 1st, from 9am until the time of the service. Memorial service, 11am Sat. at the church with Pastor Stephen Sauer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Memorials may be directed to First German Ev. Lutheran School, Manitowoc in honor of Wally Sievert who sparked Connie’s interest in a teaching career or to Manitowoc Lutheran High School in celebration of God’s many years of grace.
