Clarke Jertson, 53, Sobieski, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on March 31, 2014. Born on November 15, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, he is the son of the late LuVerne and Jennie (Anderson) Jertson. On May 3, 2002, he married the former Kim Gajeski in Oconto. Clarke loved spending time up north at his cabin on Rost Lake in Coleman, WI. He was also a sailing enthusiast, and he spent several vacations sailing and racing in various locations throughout the world, including the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands. Clarke was exceptionally crafty - remodeling cottages, building furniture and cabinets, and restoring boats. He was also a sports enthusiast, and loved the Packers. Clarke was also passionate about computers, and most recently acted as the managing partner at Nexgen Consulting.
Clark is survived by his loving wife, Kim; one son, Garrett Gazella, Denmark; two step-sons, Mathew (Alexis) Lehmann, Milwaukee, and Michael (Megan) Lehmann, Whidbey NAS, Washington; one sister, Debi Chartier and her significant other, Fred, Detroit, MI; two-brothers-in-law, Kurt (Denise) Gajeski, and Keith (Kathy) Gajeski; in-laws, Joseph Vann and Karen Gajeski-Vann; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. Memorial service 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jennie Swanson officiating.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
