Cheyenne Rae “Cheygirl” Hill, 18, Green Bay, her mother and father’s little angel, went to heaven unexpectedly on August 21, 2015. Born on October 11, 1996, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of John and Billie Jo (Sonnenberg) Hill. Cheyenne is a 2015 graduate of Green Bay Preble, and she had aspirations of attending beauty school in the fall. She worked as a manager at Firehouse Subs, where she relished the relationships with her employees. She enjoyed family nights, going to the reservation, attending Pow Wows, visiting Dave Falls, picking on her grandpa, and hanging out with her best friend, Miaela, and good friend, Michael. She also loved going to the mall and hanging out with her cousin, Greggie, and spending precious time with her beloved brother, best friend, and “road dog,” Jonathon.
Cheyenne is survived by her loving parents, John (Billie Jo) Hill, Green Bay; one brother, Jonathan Hill, Green Bay; grandfather, Bill Sonnenberg, Green Bay; great grandmother, Shirley Sonnenberg, Niagara; aunts and uncles, Bobby (Michelle) Sonnenberg, Rebecca Sonnenberg, Shawna Schommer, Jill (Greg) Duffek, Jan Red Cloud, Jerrold, (Kathy) Hill, Jay (Cheryl) Hill, and Matthew Hill; and MANY extended aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl “Squirrely” (Violet) Hill, and Peggy Sonnenberg; three uncles, Ben Sonnenberg, and Delbert and Gilbert Hill; one aunt, Joyce LeMieux; very special cousin, Kelli Ann Boswell.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Thursday from 3 – 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Stockbridge Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Firehouse Subs and all of the Packer players that she had the opportunity to meet. They would also like to thank Kathy and Jerald Hill for taking our babies under your wings when we needed you to. Thank you to Julie’s Cafe, where she loved to work. A much deserved thank you to her grandpa, who lost his beloved “Cheygirl.”
