Carol Allen (Kaster), 90, Green Bay, passed away peacefully September 14, 2014. Born on September 11, 1924 she is the daughter of the late Bernard and Caroline (Schorn) Kaster. She was a Green Bay East Graduate class of ‘42. Carol then went to Nursing School in Hancock-Houghton. She married Frank Allen in 1955 in Denver, CO. Carol was a registered nurse for thirty years at St. Vincent Hospital. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Carol enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and sheepshead, listening to music, and playing piano.
She is survived by her children, John Allen of Jacksonville, NC, Cathy (Bob) Allen-Schneider, and Marge (Greg) Allen-Trinkner both of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Dan (April) Terrien of Chicago, IL, Jason (Amy) Allen, of Green Bay, Nicole Allen, of Green Bay, Kurt and Josh Schneider, both of Green Bay, Chelsea Trinkner and Tasha (Tony) Poplin, both of Green Bay; seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; one brother, Jack Kaster; two sisters, Ruth Lemens, and Mary Kaster.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Wednesday, September 17, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Parish Wake Service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9 AM until the procession to church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St., with the Rev. Tony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
