Barrett Lee Burchell

Barrett Lee Burchell, 20, Green Bay, died tragically on April 29, 2015, after a motorcycle accident. Born on May 1, 1994, he is the son of Brian and Mary Jo (Werner) Burchell. Barrett graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 2012, and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2014. Barrett enjoyed computers, video games, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with friends and family – especially his brother, Nate.

Barrett is survived by his parents, Brian and Mary Jo, Green Bay; one brother, Nate Burchell, Green Bay; maternal grandparents, Bob and Lee Werner; numerous aunts and uncles on his mother’s side; his uncle, Bill (Sharon) Burchell; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Margaret Burchell; and his godfather, Myron Ettinger.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 N. Baird St., Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the procession to church. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St., with the Rev. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
