Arthur “Art” Vandermuse, 82, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local hospital on September 17, 2013. Born on May 7, 1931, in Lincoln, Wisconsin, he is the son of the late Fred and Ida (Boulanger) Vandermuse. On July 6, 1949, he married Donna Malcore at St. Peter Church in Lincoln, and she preceded him in death on May 24, 2009. Art worked at Proctor and Gamble for nearly 40 years, until his retirement. In retirement he enjoyed driving school busses for Jelco and Laid Law Transit. In his free time, Art enjoyed word search puzzles, fishing, and caring for his meticulous lawn.
Art is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda (John) Cleereman; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dallas (Carol) Vandermuse, and Daniel Vandermuse; two grandchildren, Chandra (Jerry) Fictum, and Brad Vandermuse; three great grandchildren, Allaura, Bailey, and Alex Jolly; special cousin, Joanne Rondenne; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Friday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Laubenstein officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
