Anna “The Happy Camper” Cohen, 95, Green Bay, passed away April 28, 2015. Born on March 4, 1920, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Rapoport) Cohen. Anna was a graduate of East High School. She worked at Montgomery Wards for thirty-eight years in the Shoe Department and she remained friends with many of her co-workers. She enjoyed camping with her brother, Sidney and her sister, Thelma especially to Foxfire and Woodruff and they enjoyed many cross-country trips. She was very concerned about the homeless and hungry. Anna’s Jewish faith was very important to her.
Anna is survived by her niece, from Israel, and so many dear friends who remember her selling them shoes at Montgomery Wards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sidney; and two sisters, Thelma and Ruth.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St. Thursday, April 30, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:30 AM with Rabbi Shaina Bacharach. Burial at Second Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
