Alvin Thyrion, 71, Green Bay, passed away, Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 2016, at a local nursing home. Born Nov. 16, 1944, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Alex and Elizabeth (Peerenboom) Thyrion. Alvin worked as a crane operator for Smitty’s and Lasch Wrecking and lastly he was employed with Oneida Casino. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of fishing.
Alvin is survived by one son, Travis (fiancee’ Gwen) Thyrion; three grandchildren, Courtney, Ethan, and Emma; three step-children; Tina, Tom and Mike; sisters, Judy, Roseanne, Nancy, Susan, and Patricia; brothers, Leonard, Tom, Robert, and Richard; special “brother”, Gary Nys; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by sisters, Hazel, Josephine, and Shirley Ann; brother, Alex, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Thursday, Feb. 18th, from 3pm until the time of the memorial service at 7pm.
